The date has been set! We invite you to join us on Saturday, November 7, 2009, for the Church Health Center’s 13^th annual Race for Grace 5K walk/run and 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk at Shady Grove Presbyterian Church.  Last year, more than 800 people participated and nearly $70,000 was raised. As the Church Health Center’s only fundraiser, we are striving to make this year’s event even bigger and better!

The Church Health Center provides affordable healthcare for the working uninsured, elderly, children and the homeless, and promotes healthy bodies and spirits for all. The organization cares for over 55,000 patients without relying on government assistance, and is truly one of the most effective and efficient not-for-profit service organizations in the Memphis community. The Race for Grace 5K is a unique opportunity to join people of all faiths and backgrounds in an effort to bring hope for healthier lives to our many neighbors in need.

Please consider participating in this fun, family event as a walker, runner or sponsor. Encourage your friends, family members and co-workers to join you in forming a team! A team consists of five or more people. Awards will be given to those teams who have the most registered participants and who raise the most funds.
